Holiday Blurrrrr

Christmas has come and gone. Already. Geez.

The weeks and days leading up to the holiday were very busy, with lot & lots of work, visits with friends and family, a little last minute shopping and preparation ... and now it's all gone. I am excited because we have another big family gathering on New Years Day this year - my mom's new boyfriend, Laurie, is cooking a big dinner for family and friends - so we'll all be together again so soon!

I just took down my Christmas tree, put away all the decorations, and stored it all away until next year. It's weird to sit here in the living room, looking around with no tree and what seems like so much more space even though it's exactly the way it was just a few weeks ago! Funny how quickly you adjust to your surroundings.

Time to adjust back i guess ...
