I am off to my Grandparent's this afternoon & evening for a Father's Day BBQ and good-old family hang out. I heard through the family grape vine that the pool is open and swimable - very exciting news given the fact that a month ago my Grampa was talking about having it taken out b/c something was broken with the skimmer/filter/*shrug* ... so no matter how chilly the water is, I am making a point of enjoying the pool to the fullest this summer !!
I was hoping to make it to the Cemetery today to visit my Dad, but time just won't allow ... I know he understands and I am sure he'd rather I get all the laundry, cleaning, and baking done so I am set for the week : )
If D is around this evening, I am hoping to watch the movie UP which I borrowed from my mom this morning after we did groceries at 7:30am (yes we really are crazy). That would make for a nice relaxing evening together.
